        International Summer School

        Four weeks of Academic Achievement and International Goodwill

        The American Academy International Summer School is an academic learning centre within an international context and a forum for fostering intercultural understanding for students aged twelve to eighteen.

        Every summer in July we welcome students from all over the world, offering them the opportunity to combine study with an unforgettable experience.

        The Educational Programme is dedicated to the improvement of the English language and is led by experienced teachers who have graduated from top Universities in England and the United States of America. The programme is designed to match the student's individual needs, therefore class placement depends on the level of the student's English. We have a wide range of Extra Curricular Activities led by experienced coaches.

        Weekend excursions give the students an insight into the rich culture and history of Cyprus with visits to archaeological sites such as: Kykkos Monastery, Tomb of the Kings, Cyprus Mosaics and the Kurium Ancient Roman Theatre. Entertaining excursions include a Catamaran Sea Trip, an Aqua Park visit, a Night Sea Trip, and a trip to Paphos Aquarium.

        Accommodation is provided either in a hotel or hotel apartments with fully airconditioned rooms with a private swimming pool.

        The American Academy Summer School Certificate of Achievement is awarded to all students passing the final examination.

        Additionally, we offer students that have had an intensive academic year, a Holiday Only Programme, which excludes the educational part of the programme, helping them to relax while having fun in an English-speaking international environment.

        For local students, Summer Schools are organised in July at the Early Years & Primary School.
