        Dear Parents and friends,

        I feel proud and privileged to welcome you through the doors of the American Academy, an educational community whose main purpose is the realisation of our vision and the implementation of our philosophy.

        Our school strongly ascertains that every child, independently of religious, racial or social background, has the potential to bring something unique to the world and that our role as a school should be to try to create a unique and blossoming community of learners, enabling all pupils to achieve their full potential: spiritually, morally, socially, physically and intellectually.

        Some of the most important decisions that you will make concerning your children's future are those relating to their education. We feel privileged because you allow us to assist you and observe with you as your children flourish, starting from pre-kindergarten education, going through primary to secondary education, finally securing a place in any English speaking University in the world in order to pursue their destination and career in life.

        The school's academically qualified, compassionate and dedicated educators endeavour to the successful transfer of knowledge, information and skills to your children so that the American Academy pupils acquire the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge and can feel capable and successful within themselves to face the challenges of the 21st century.
