Admissions
Entrance procedures to each of the American Academy’s school are outlined below:
Early Years (Foundation Stage): Pre- Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Reception
The youngest pupils are accepted in the September following their second birthday. Depending on an informal interview with the Kindergarten and Primary Principal and availability of places, children can enter at any time or placed on the waiting list. The school day is 7.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Secondary School (KS3, KS4 & KS 5) Class 1 to 7
Most students enter in Class 1 from our Primary School. Other students applying for admission take entrance exams in English and Maths and have an interview with the Secondary School Principal. Previous school reports are necessary. Depending on the availability of places, students can enter at any time.
